Located on Park Road in West Kirby, this large semi-detached home had a small block paver driveway which was looking tired and worn. Our client came to Black Macadam because they wanted a new and larger driveway, new tiling around the front door and a patio area.

A full excavation was required on this particular driveway. The sublayers in this coastal area were made up of sand so the condition was perfect for reducing levels. Next up was the Type 1 MOT stone foundation and compacting.
To create an attractive feature, we chose to put a double band of block pavers to the perimeter and a block key kerb around the miniature hedgerow.
